Written by Whitten

To add a newly created Written by Whitten blog post to the President's site follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the "/writtenbywhitten/posts" directory in the President's website
  2. Select the "Modified" column to order posts by date.
  3. On the line with the most recent post, select "File > Copy." 
  4. Hit the blue "Copy" button to choose the "/posts" destination directory.
  5. On the line with the newly copied page, select "File > Rename." with the title of the most recent blog post being sure to use all capital letters and underscores for spaces.
  6. Open the new file in the OmniUpdate editor, check it out, and replace the post text with the new copy. Hit "Save."
  7. Check the file out and select "Multi-edit." Change the Post Title to the new title. Change the Post Date by using the date picker and adjusting the time of day. (NOTE: You must use the date picker to select the day). Hit "Save."
  8. Check the file out and select "Properties," Change the Title to the title of the new blog post. Hit "Save."
  9. Publish the new blog post and check the website to make sure that the new post is working correctly.
