Written by Whitten
To add a newly created Written by Whitten blog post to the President's site follow these steps:
- Navigate to the "/writtenbywhitten/posts" directory in the President's website
- Select the "Modified" column to order posts by date.
- On the line with the most recent post, select "File > Copy."
- Hit the blue "Copy" button to choose the "/posts" destination directory.
- On the line with the newly copied page, select "File > Rename." with the title of the most recent blog post being sure to use all capital letters and underscores for spaces.
- Open the new file in the OmniUpdate editor, check it out, and replace the post text with the new copy. Hit "Save."
- Check the file out and select "Multi-edit." Change the Post Title to the new title. Change the Post Date by using the date picker and adjusting the time of day. (NOTE: You must use the date picker to select the day). Hit "Save."
- Check the file out and select "Properties," Change the Title to the title of the new blog post. Hit "Save."
- Publish the new blog post and check the website to make sure that the new post is working correctly.
