Explanation of Color and Uses

The following colors are available for use in Modern Campus Omni CMS. All snippets and page elements are made up using the official university primary colors of gold, black, and gray. The template for KSU web pages includes these colors, many of which are already assigned specific locations and purposes.

Primary

Hooty Hoo Gold

Referred to as “Hooty Hoo Gold,” this color is utilized in many locations on the web page, including the header, footer, and snippets. When hyperlinked text on the page is rolled over with the cursor, the text changes to Hooty Hoo Gold. Users cannot make any text on the template gold.

This color is utilized in the design of snippets and icons (for examples, see Section 1.4, Snippets and Icons).

Vibrant Cool Colors

Marietta Blue

All hyperlinked text on KSU web pages is Marietta Blue. This color changes to Hooty Hoo Gold when an individual hovers over the hyperlinked text. Text is only blue if it is hyperlinked.
